Dawn breaks; wild hearts leap,
Young hooves dance through rising green,

I’ve never participated before, but this time I’m trying. Rebecca tells us For August’s poetry challenge, we will write a haiku about a garden surprise and, I confess, I’m already taking liberties as mine is a farm, not garden surprise.
