You may share one photo featuring each of the following captivating colors in their various shades: red, blue, green, purple, orange, and yellow.

Wild Sunflower (Helianthus decapetalus)

Nature always wears the colors of the spirit.†

And never is that more apparent than in the world of wildflowers.

Canadian Columbine (Aquilegia canadensis)
Common Chicory (Cichorium intybus)
Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca)
Musk Thistle (Carduus nutans)
Butterfly Milkweed (Asclepias tuberosa)
Monarch Butterfly (Danaus plexippus)
Bird’s-foot Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus)

    Pam, your gallery certainly meets Ritva’s challenge with those glorious flowers. The orange example, and your timing to capture the butterfly makes the photo my favorite of your set.

      That species of Milkweed lines the road through the Northumberland forest. Each clump of blossoms seems to have a Monarch on it, feasting away. I wish I understood video – I’d have loved to have been able to take a wide sweeping shot of them so everyone could see just how many pollinators love these wildflowers. pp

    Excellent photos of these colourful flowers! My favourite is the chicory, because that colour doesn’t exist in many other flowers or plants. It’s lovely.
