Lens Artists Challenge #389: Time to Relax
But what relaxes you? What gets you away from the stresses of daily life. What’s your passion?†
On any given day, I’m probably the most stressed-out person you’ll meet. Relaxation (without stress) doesn’t typically come easily to me but answering Anne’s questions was easy. A leisurely rural ramble through farm country or a visit to any of my favourite parks, conservation areas or woodlands, relaxes me, and helps me find serenity. Those are definitely my happy places.
The first thing I read this morning was Tina’s post: Lens-Artists Challenge #389 – Time To relax — you definitely have to check out her post, especially if you love quirky and interesting wildlife and animal shots — hers are pure amazingness! In her post, and of relaxation, Tina wrote, Somehow our 4-legged friends seem to have mastered the art a bit more effectively than their human counterparts. I couldn’t seem to get started on this challenge ’til I re-read her post and that line prompted me to get going (thank you Tina!). Conning my images, I was quite surprised to find so many shots of animals at their leisure — I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks to Anne for today’s thought-provoking challenge! Genius!!! I strongly recommend you take a minute or two to read her post — for the images, of course, but also for her candid narrative which, I promise, will touch your heartstrings:
