The Flower Hour #20:  Live Like A Wild Flower

The Flower Hour #20: Shadows of Desert Florals

Thanks to the amazing Terri for another Flower Hour prompt.

Wildflowers have long been symbols of tenacity and resiliency and, when you see where some not only grow, but flourish, it’s no wonder!  Conning my wildflower album to find inspiration for today’s post I came across a number of examples of the perseverance of the humble wildflower.

Oxeye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare)
Mossy Stonecrop (Sedum acre)
Common Chicory (Cichorium intybus)
Awl Aster (Symphyotrichum pilosum)
Also known as Hairy White Aster and Frost Aster.
Marsh Dandelion (Taraxacum palustre)
Garlic Mustard (Alliaria petiolata)

Common Sowthistle (Sonchus oleraceus)
Hedge Bindweed (Calystegia sepium)

Meadow Buttercup (Ranunculus acris)
Garlic Mustard (Alliaria petiolata)

Please take a moment to visit Terri’s site and be amazed at her spectacular flower photography:
