Mutually Distinct Realities

Creativity is that marvelous capacity to grasp mutually distinct realities and draw a spark from their juxtaposition.

Trust the author to create such a cerebral challenge!  A most enjoyable challenge, though, thank you Patti!

You’ll undoubtedly either smile or roll your eyes, but whenever I hear or read the word juxtaposition I’m immediately transported back to Mrs. Vincent’s grade 13 lit class and Dickens!

Meet Daisy:

I’ve always loved the vast contradiction of this duo — both size and species.

Spring in Ontario:

Forsythia is trying to insist winter is over but Mother Nature is vehemently arguing the point.

Field Sowthistle (Sonchus arvensis):

Beginning and ending.

Follow the Leader:

I mean, did you ever?

Old and New Power Generation:

Here in Essex County, we have one of Canada’s largest wind farms.

🎵 One of these things is not like the other (x2). 🎵

I’m not completely sure I nailed this challenge but I sure had fun with it.  Now I can’t wait for Patti’s next challenge!  In this challenge, Patti’s shots are gorgeous and I strongly urge you to visit her blog to see for yourself, you’ll not be disappointed, promise:
